I went on a 10 day trip across Mexico and visited Playa del Carmen, Cancun and Mexico City.
First thing I realized is how much you've been sitting on your butt all day at the office. For those of us who don't have super active day jobs, our bodies are constantly accustomed to sitting 8-10 hours a day.
Here's the adjustments I've made that has made the most positive beneficial impact
Tea Rex vs Energy drinks ( Red Bull / 5 hour energy / etc)
- Increase stamina by improving oxygen intake and ATP synthesis.
- No sugar or artificial sweeteners. Excess sugar consumption is terrible, we all know that. Recent studies show sucralose, the main artificial sweeteners used in sugar-free energy drinks may be linked to leukemia; it isn't as healthy as we once thought.
- No Caffeine dependency. Habitual caffeine intake up-regulates adenosine receptors, which is why we need more coffee each day to feel that initial buzz. It is why caffeine is one of the hardest to quit substances.
